Your download should be in your browser’s download list
You are downloading the setup program for EG SCA Wage Pack (52.222-43) (30-day free trial), software that runs inside Microsoft Excel and prepares and checks the wage and fringe numbers of a Service Contract Act contract and the evidence pack for a FAR 52.222-43 price adjustment. Setup shows the license agreement (EULA) before it installs anything. The one change it can make to Excel’s settings, adding its folder to Excel’s Trusted Locations, comes from a box that is ticked by default and that you can untick.
You are downloading EG SCA Wage Pack (52.222-43) (30-day free trial) for Excel for Mac: a single .xlsm workbook that prepares and checks the wage and fringe numbers of a Service Contract Act contract and the evidence pack for a FAR 52.222-43 price adjustment. Nothing is installed.

Rather not run a setup program, or your browser held the file back? Download the workbook on its own, a single .xlsm file. Nothing is installed and no Windows setting is changed: save it in a folder you back up, open it in Excel and allow its macros. It shows the same license agreement and checks in the same way.
What the setup program does
- Installs the workbook and its icon in Documents\ExcelGurus\EG SCA Wage Pack (52.222-43) (you can choose another folder), Start menu shortcuts, a desktop shortcut you can untick, and its uninstaller and settings in your Windows user profile. No administrator rights.
- A box, ticked by default, adds that folder and its subfolders to Excel’s Trusted Locations, so the workbook normally opens with no macro warning. Untick it to leave Excel as it is.
- Setup itself sends nothing. The workbook shows the license agreement again the first time it opens; once you accept it there, it tells our server that a copy has been opened, then checks in normally once a day when it is opened. These messages carry the product, its version, whether a license is active and anonymous identifiers, including a random installation ID that Setup keeps in your Windows user profile. They never carry anything from your spreadsheets: no employee, wage, contract or count of them. When you use Fetch WD, the workbook asks SAM.gov directly for the wage determination you name; that request carries only the wage determination number and revision, and nothing about it is sent to us (Privacy Policy).
- To remove it: Installed apps in Windows Settings (Apps & features on Windows 10 and early Windows 11), or Uninstall in the ExcelGurus Start menu folder. That takes the folder back out of Excel’s Trusted Locations and asks whether to delete EG SCA Wage Pack (52.222-43) and your wage and payroll data; No, the default, keeps them.
Windows may show a SmartScreen notice the first time a new setup program runs. If it does, its details should name the publisher ExcelGurus LLC.
On a Mac
- Save the workbook in a folder you back up, such as Documents, and open it in Excel for Mac (Microsoft 365 or Excel 2024).
- When Excel asks, click Enable Macros (how to allow macros). The first time it opens it shows the license agreement (EULA), then checks in with our server as described in the Privacy Policy.
- For each evidence pack, Excel asks where to save the backup workbook, and the PDF of the letter goes into an SCA price adjustments folder beside the workbook.
- To remove it, delete the workbook. Your wage and payroll data is inside it.
First thing to try
On the Home page click Set up a contract and add your company and your first SCA contract, then fetch its wage determination on the WDs page by its number and revision. The 30-day trial starts when you accept the license agreement and takes no card.
