PDF to Excel Conversion Service

David Gul · Last updated October 9, 2026

ExcelGurus converts PDFs to Excel as a paid service. Your PDFs, supplier invoices for example, are turned into Excel files laid out the way you need them, by an Excel VBA developer rather than a converter app. Tell us what the PDFs are and how the file should look, and you approve a fixed price before any work starts. If the same PDFs arrive every week, the conversion can be built into a tool that does it for you each time.

Get Excel Help

Choose “Convert PDFs to Excel” when you describe the job.

What you get

The data from your PDF pages in Excel rows and columns, with the columns you name, in the order you want. There are two ways to have it done:

  • A one-time conversion: a batch of PDFs, from a few files to hundreds, turned into one Excel file.
  • A tool for PDFs that keep coming: a workbook that reads each new batch and adds it to the sheet, so nobody retypes PDF data again.

What to tell us

  • What the PDFs are, and how many
  • Whether they are typed PDFs or scanned paper
  • What the Excel sheet should look like

If you have a sample PDF and an example of the sheet you want, attach them when you reply to our first email. A copy with confidential data removed is fine.

How it works

  1. Describe the job. A few words is enough to start.
  2. Get a fixed-price quote. You approve the price before any work starts, and the price you approve is the price you pay.
  3. Receive your Excel file, or the tool that makes it.

David reads every request personally and replies shortly.

Why not a free converter?

If a free converter gives you what you need, use it. They copy what is on the page. This service is for when you need the data in a particular layout, combined from many files, or turned into the same sheet every week.

Common questions

How much does PDF to Excel conversion cost?

It depends on the PDFs: how many there are, how alike they are, and how the Excel file should look. Tell us what they are and you get a fixed-price quote; you approve the price before any work starts.

Is this a converter app?

No. It is a service: an Excel developer turns your PDFs into the Excel file you describe. For PDFs that keep arriving, the result can be a workbook that does the conversion each time.

What should I send?

What the PDFs are and how many, whether they are typed or scanned, and what the sheet should look like. A sample PDF and an example of the finished sheet help most. Attach them when you reply to our first email.
